Sustainability is at the core of who we are, it’s a pillar of our strategy and a key part of our culture and values. It has become a natural and consistent part of our decision-making processes and business strategies. Guided by our internal policies, we focus on building good and long lasting Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices beginning with our own operations and extending to our supply chain.
Environment
We strive to minimize our environmental footprint and drive responsible resource use in our operations and want to extend it to our value chain. We have focused on key areas where we believe we can have an impact. We are committed to measuring and setting up a plan to reduce our GHG emissions in the medium and long term. We have worked hard to switch to cleaner energy use and we are proud that 100% of our energy consumption comes from renewable sources.
We have measures in place to recycle, reuse and segregate properly all the waste that is produced in our facilities. Our different types of packaging also align with those goals as we strive for more sustainable options that promote circularity and reduce waste.
Social
People are at the center of what we do. Our social sustainability approach focuses on creating a safe, welcoming, and healthy workplace where we support both personal and professional growth. We are committed to providing good working conditions and fostering a healthy work–life balance.
The people working for our business partners are equally important to us. We strive to promote safe and fair working conditions throughout our value chain and ensure that all workers are treated with dignity and respect.
Governance
Upholding good social, ethical and environmental standards throughout our supply chain is essential. With our responsible sourcing policy, we set some requirements and expectations to our business partners and ensure that their business are conducted in a way that respects human rights, protects the environmental, guarantees food safety and drives positive social impact.
We have policies and procedures emplaced internally that serve as a framework that ensures clear and concise information of the standards that we hold on to our business. With these, we are able to ensure compliance, mitigate risks and uphold high standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
