From starting as a Commercial Trainee to managing the sourcing of pears and grapes, Angelica has grown her career at Roveg since joining the company in 2024. We joined her at Fruit Attraction 2026 in Madrid to see what a day at one of the fruit industry’s biggest trade fairs looks like.
From Peru to Roveg
Meet Angelica, originally from Peru, who joined Roveg in 2024 as a Commercial Trainee. Since then, she has developed into her role as a Commercial Officer, taking responsibility for the sourcing of pears and grapes. More recently, she has also joined Roveg’s avocado team, expanding her experience across different product categories.
Fruit Attraction is an important opportunity for Angelica and her colleagues to meet business partners, strengthen relationships, and explore new opportunities. So, what does a typical day at the fair look like?
Getting Ready for a Busy Day
Angelica’s day starts in Madrid, where she arrives at Fruit Attraction and heads straight to the Roveg stand. Before the meetings begin, there are a few things to check: the stand needs to be ready, materials need to be in place, and everything must be prepared for the busy day ahead.
Once everything is set, it is time to welcome visitors and get down to business.
Meetings, Connections and New Opportunities
With the stand ready, Angelica’s schedule quickly fills with meetings. Fruit Attraction brings together suppliers, customers, and other professionals from across the fruit and vegetable industry, making it an ideal place to strengthen existing partnerships and build new ones.
